Quenzer purchased the Montana Motel in December, 2002 and have
been working diligently to provide you with the most
comfortable stay in eastern Montana. Jay and Lori were both in
management for a premier hospitality and service company on
the east coast. After 10 years they decided to move back home
and put their experience to use in their own business for the
benefit of the Baker community.
In
January, 2003 the Montana Motel began its total renovation and
plans for expansion. The Montana Motel has a great variety of
rooms and amenities for everyone to choose from. During the
renovation and expansion they have done a great deal of
planning to ensure that the Montana Motel is the most diverse
and customer friendly lodging experience in Baker.
When
the Montana Motel says TOTAL RENOVATION, THEY MEAN TOTAL
RENOVATION, NOT JUST A COAT OF PAINT AND PICTURES ON THE
WALLS! All renovated accommodations have been stripped to the
bare studs, new electrical services, new plumbing services and
fixtures, new insulated & sheetrock walls, new heating and
cooling units, new flooring and tons of guest requested
amenities. Additionally, the Montana Motel has just purchased
all new King and Queen beds for your comfort. The important
thing to remember is that all of these renovations have been
done to strict state building codes to ensure the safety of
all guests.
Due to the great response from the renovation to the existing
facility, the Montana Motel completed construction of a TWO
(2) BRAND NEW BUILDINGS, the first in January 2005 and the
second in September 2006. The new buildings consists of
business suites which feature one king sized bed or two queen
beds, kitchenettes, cordless telephones, adjoining rooms,
large executive corner desks, executive chairs, and 27" flat
screen televisions.
The
Montana Motel also has THREE Handicap Accessible rooms that
meet and exceed the Administrative Rules of Montana Department
of Labor and Industry and ADA. All three rooms have the
required bathtubs and bathroom handrails, meet and exceed all
turning radius and provide the required sinks. The Montana
Motel has taken a great deal of pride to ensure that our
handicapped guests have a safe and comfortable stay.
The Montana Motel has completed the exterior renovation along
with the addition of a new sign. There has been over 350 yards
of new concrete poured in new sidewalks and parking driveways.
In August 2009
, we also added screen/storm doors to most rooms
as well.
We want
Montana Motel to be convenient, cozy and comfortable for you.
We are
very proud of the rapid expansion and renovations and have
enjoyed the fantastic response from all of our customers that
have made this possible. Without loyal customers spreading
the word about the Montana Motel none of this could have been
possible.
